Movement for All
Design and function are what makes a gym fun, safe and accessable for all

Home Sweat Home is the nonprofit arm of Kim at the Gym, created with a simple belief: everyone deserves a safe, welcoming place to move, exercise, and feel stronger.
We collect financial donations as well as new and gently used fitness equipment to create personalized exercise spaces for individuals and organizations that may need a little extra help accessing traditional fitness facilities.
We begin by assessing each client's individual needs, abilities, available space, and goals. From there, we evaluate our inventory and, when needed, reach out to our generous equipment partners and donors.
We work with respected fitness equipment brands and partners, including Precor and Top Fitness Store, along with donations from our community, to source equipment that is safe, appropriate, and suited to each client's unique needs.
Whenever possible, we give quality fitness equipment a second life.
We have repurposed and refurbished dozens of pieces of equipment to create exercise spaces for:
Individuals living with chronic conditions such as Parkinson's disease, ALS, and MS
Residential treatment facilities
Individuals with adaptive or special needs for whom a traditional fitness facility may not be the best fit
Senior living communities and youth organizations
Individuals experiencing anxiety or depression who may find a traditional gym environment overwhelming
Home Sweat Home isn't simply about donating exercise equipment. It's about creating access, independence, confidence, and opportunity through movement.
By connecting donated resources with people who can truly benefit from them, we're helping create spaces where individuals can move safely, build strength, and experience the physical and emotional benefits of exercise—right where they feel most comfortable.
