Parkinson’s Disease is scary. I know — my stepmother was diagnosed in 2015.

There is an enormous amount of research showing that exercise is the number one factor in maintaining quality of life and independence for those living with Parkinson’s Disease. Sadly, there is a severe lack of qualified trainers in our area, and visiting a physical therapist’s office every day is simply unrealistic.

I hold specialized certifications as a Parkinson’s Movement Specialist and in Parkinson’s “Speak Out” Voice Therapy, and I’ve worked with clients in all phases of the disease — some with DBS implants and some without. Some have successfully minimized their “off” times, while others are still working to find what works best for them.

As part of my clients’ support team, I collaborate closely with their therapists and caregivers to ensure safe, effective movement that helps maintain strength and independence for as long as possible.

I offer private, personalized sessions in-home or at your gym of choice (when listed as a caregiver), and I can accept most HSA accounts as payment.
